Doctor Omega, the inspiration for Doctor Who, in his first comic book series!
In THE MERLIN JOB — the first issue in the epic five-issue OMEGA ELEVEN series — Doctor Omega and his companion, 14-year-old Jack Dawkins, aka The Artful Dodger, travel to Camelot to steal the Philosopher's Stone from Merlin—and things go catastrophically wrong.
MONSTROUS #2, a digest-size horror comic magazine, features an 18-page story called "Rise of the Morlocks" by James Aquilone and J.K. Woodward. It's about Morlocks living underneath the NYC subway system in the 1970s!
The issue, featuring a cover by Russ Braun, also includes a new horror story by Exorcist's House author Nick Roberts and a reprint of H.G. Wells' first time travel story, "The Chronic Argonauts."

But that's not all. We've added Lupin to our trading card set, too. Now it's a six-card set! Plus, check below to see the sketch card. Zac will hand-draw our Lupin on every sketch card for you. (Here are instructions on how to add an add-on to your pledge.)

We're so close to hitting our second stretch goal — the free ebook of the first Doctor Omega short story. I'm very excited to write it and expand our Omega universe. It's looking like the story will be about how the Doctor met The Artful Dodger. Look for appearances by some famous characters as well!
One way you can help us get there — You have another chance to BE A KNIGHT IN THE OMEGA ELEVEN. One of the slots just opened up. You'll be drawn into the debut issue of the comic, and probably get us to our stretch goal.
All hell breaks loose in a quaint northern Michigan community when a team of in-over-their-heads bank robbers kills a beloved Sheriff’s Deputy. In a small town with BIG secrets, local detective Richard Holton races to peel back the layers of a depraved down home conspiracy before the bungling Federal Agents assigned to the case send everyone involved to ground.
THE PEACEKEEPERS is a comic book series from writer Rylend Grant, artist Davi Leon Dias, colorist Iwan Joko Triyono, and letterer HdE... the same twisted team that brought you 10 rip-roaring issues of Action Lab: Danger Zone's critically-lauded political action thriller ABERRANT.

We're nearing our next stretch goal. When we hit $7.5K, every backer will get an ebook of a Doctor Omega short story that I'm writing just for this campaign. Let me know in the comments what you'd like the story to explore? How Omega met The Artful Dodger? How Omega invented the Cosmos?

They were limited to only 25 and are signed by Steve Niles, Kevin J. Anderson, Nancy A. Collins, John Jennings (who was also the cover artist) and me.
You can add the prints by going to "Manage my pledge" and then "Change my pledge."

We've Funded! Thank You All!

We did it. We made it past the first day! I know this is a little different from my other campaigns, so I appreciate everyone who's supporting the project. Thank you for helping us get funded within the first 24 hours!
BACKGROUND
I've always been a big fan of Doctor Who, so when Zac Atkinson came to me with the idea for a Doctor Omega comic, I jumped at the chance to write it. For those who may not be familiar, Doctor Omega was introduced in a novel back in 1906 and he's believed to be an inspiration for Doctor Who.
Zac's idea was to have Doctor Omega build a time machine and travel through history gathering a team of public domain characters to pull off an impossible heist. That sounded like a lot of fun, we got to work, and here we are.
CAMPAIGN
I added the Rick & Morty and Calvin & Hobbes stickers as add-ons. I also added the limited-edition signed and numbered cover prints from the Dead Detectives Society campaign, which I just received in the mail. I have only 5 of the 25 left, so act fast. They're signed by Steve Niles, Kevin J. Anderson, Nancy A. Collins, John Jennings and me.
PROCESS ART
J.K. Woodward has posted a video of himself creating his OMEGA ELEVEN variant cover. It's pretty cool.
Here's a process look at one of my latest covers which I can finally reveal. It's for a new @MonstrousBooks release. You can get a copy of the book with this cover or even get the original 18"x24" painted art here: https://t.co/BE90gKTBhqpic.twitter.com/ynx5zfFq5m
